The Swedish Order of Freemasons, Grand Lodge of Sweden is an organisation, where men from various walks of life meet in a Christian spirit to fully develop their personal maturation potential, and in dignified circumstances to meet fellow men.
The Grand Master
Brother Anders Strömberg, Knight and Commander of the Red Cross, was elected Grand Master by the members of the Grand Lodge of Sweden on the 18th of March 2012. The installation of Brother Strömberg took place on May 11th 2012. He succeeds to Brother professor Anders Fahlman who has been Grand Master since 2001.
Relations with the Grande Loge Nationale Française (GLNF) restored.
The Grand Master of the Swedish Order of Freemasons has - in consultation with
the other Nordic Grand Masters from Denmark, Iceland and Norway - decided to
restore the interrupted relations with the GLNF with effect from January 2015
Intervisitation by brethren of the Swedish Order and brethren from lodges under
the GLNF is now possible again.
